  • Here is my updated review of Publix. This review is on the take out food area. In the past I have purchased prepared chicken from Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Fresh Market and even BJ Wholesale. Publix is definitely the best by far. Each chicken is cooked to perfection. My mouth waters as you see the chicken on the rotisserie. So we walked out with two chickens- Mojo and Lemon. OMG!!! It is delicious. We were fortunate to get the chicken right out of the rotisserie and it is so juicy. Definitely, give it a try if you have not. My numerous experience shopping here at Publix have been awesome. Staff is friendly, helpful, and on weekends they have areas where you can taste test their products. It was pumpkin pie last weekend. That pumpkin pie is light and fluff. Why do I rave about Publix? Couple of things. 1) Love their deals of buy one get one and their specials. Prices are lower compared to the other markets. 2) No need for a card to get discounts to shop there. Everyone gets the same discounts. 3) Produce is fresh and lots to select from in the seafood area.
