Other reviewers are right that this place is very expensive, especially for the packaged goods, but they are unique and imported so you get what you pay for.
The pastries are a little expensive but not too bad. The croissant was mediocre - I've had a lot better in Toronto. However the Kouign-Amann was to die for. I'd go back just for this. The canelés had a great flavor but were too spongy and dry for me to give them full stars.
I give this a four because I'll likely return and there are some winners here. Plus I love the friendly staff, French music playing inside, and unique finds here. I haven't seen another place like this.
