I took my mom to buy a CR-V I found listed online. We had a very pleasant experience with a very young sales staff. I don't usually go to dealers anymore because of the pushy sales staff. The only thing I can complain about is that they wanted to add $1,800 in labor for 'checking' over the vehicle when it came it. This CR-V had 9,000 miles on so it was pretty obvious that was fluff. Then they wanted $395 for a paint covering they apparently do to all vehicles that drive onto the lot. I didn't want to push it and ask for paperwork showing that was actually done to the vehicle. After the sales manager went back to 'speak' to someone 2 times, he finally waived the labor fee but wouldn't not take off the paint charge. Overall, since the vehicle was listed well below Blue Book, I didn't push it anymore but felt that since the vehicle was listed for a certain price, it was a bit shady to ask for more. Had I not gone in with my mom, she would have paid that amount. So in the end, although we got a great vehicle for a great price, it only happened because I went and held them accountable for the listing price. If you go, just know your stuff.
