| - The only reason this review gets one star is because I like the couch that I purchased from Levin.
However, the delivery experience and subsequent customer service was sub-par, to say the least. When I originally ordered my couch, I told the salesman that I lived on the fourth floor of an apartment building, and that the couch might not fit in the elevator. The salesman told me that "it wouldn't be a problem."
On the day of my delivery, the two deliverymen brought the couch in my building, and as expected, the couch didn't fit in the elevator. Before even trying to carry the couch up the stairs, one of the deliverymen refused to deliver my couch to my apartment. He said that they were allowed to refuse delivery if the location was higher than three stories. It took me citing my prior discussion with the salesman to convince the deliverymen to finally deliver my couch to my apartment.
This occurred on March 3rd. Since then, I have tried contacting Levin's customer service to file a complaint about the delivery experience. I have called multiple times (including a voicemail that was not returned), and the times that I have spoken to a representative, I've just been told that I will be contacted either "soon" or "within 2-3 days" by a delivery supervisor. Needless to say, I have not yet been contacted by anyone from Levin in the weeks since the delivery.
I'm disappointed that the deliverymen showed such a lazy and apathetic attitude when delivering my couch, especially since I elected to pay for delivery, and am equally disappointed by the apathetic attitude shown to me by Levin's customer service.
