  • On a crisp, sunny Autumn day, Balzac's is the perfect spot to end up after a stroll around the neighbourhood. Its bright and airy room is accented by its large graphic floor tiles. Situated in a former toy factory, retro signage is hung along the brick lined walls. The line up went quickly and I ordered my usual latte. I didn't have to wait long before my drink was done. I took a seat on the stools, overlooking the trees on the street with the bright yellow and red leaves. The latte was smooth and creamy, and at a perfect temperature. There's a lot of seating in the space, but it never felt crowded. I spent a good thirty minutes there, just taking in the experience.
