| - I have been wanting to check this restaurant out for years and finally went on New Year's day a few weeks ago. The SO and I walked in and didn't see a hostess stand, which we thought was weird. So we weren't sure if we sat ourselves or what. A server walked by us with our confused faces at least four times. We ended up just sitting down next to another couple waiting. Their beeper went off and they went to the OTHER door to the restaurant that had the table for the hostesses. While waiting with our beeper, a couple walked in with confused faces, and a server directed them to the other side. Then, another group of people walked in with asking each other the same questions we had asked about how seating works.
Anyways, when we finally sat down, I ordered the Butternut squash pizza. Taste wise, it was pretty good, but I felt it needed more butternut squash. I also didn't like that the arugula was just laid on top raw after baking since it just fell off when you tried to eat the slice. I think it should have been lightly sautéed to that it would be heavier and "stick" to the pizza more. My SO got the Bison Burger without topping. I ate the sweet potato hash and Kale salad. The sweet potato hash was somewhat overcooked and when I asked a server (Not our official one, but still) for ketchup, I never got any. The kale salad was very good. We didn't get dessert, so I can't comment on that.
I can say to watch out for the bathrooms. I went to wash my hands before dinner and the place was trashed, which was surprising considering the upscale location.
I received a gift card for True Foods recently, so I'm willing to give it another shot.
