| - I developed tendonitis in my elbow (golfer's elbow) last July and have tried everything to fix it. I have spent a couple thousand on MRIs, orthopedic doctors, cortisone injections, physical therapy, dry needling, massage, etc. You name it I tried it. I also tried resting it by taking 2 months off. Now I am an avid crossfitter and that is torture! But even after all that, no relief. Luckily my husband mentioned it to his coworker who had come here for the same exact thing and he gave my husband Dr. Nick Savagty's card. I called and they got me in the very next day. I figured I would give it a try, but I didn't have my hope very high lol. I thought, how can a chiropractor fix my tendonitis? Well, when I first came in the staff is ALL very friendly and welcoming. I saw Dr. Nick for my first apt and after actually LISTENING to what I had to say (which most don't) he examined my forearm/elbow and recommended a series of Graston/ART therapy in conjunction with at home stretches and strength stuff. I agreed and he started right away. The Graston can be quite painful, ranging from a 3-9 on the pain scale for me. The ART feels nice mostly, except for some painful trigger spots. I saw Dr. Nick the first time, but Dr. Corey Cohen ever since. He is truly amazing. Very kind and knowledgeable, and also a fellow crossfitter (yay)! I have been a total of 5 times and the difference in my elbow/forearm is insane. I still have a few more treatments to go and will probably come in every so often for maintenance but holy moly, I am so happy I found this place. Instead of just masking the pain with cortisone, which comes back after it wears off, they fixed the ROOT CAUSE of the problem, a build up of scar tissue that was pulling on the tendon. So, before spending all kinds of crazy money, try this place first.
