| - EVER HEARD OF WINDEX?!
Just because this Fry's isn't as updated or nice as the one on Camelback & 20th Street, is no excuse not to Windex the front doors and windows, not mop the front foyer, keep the carts collected and neatly lined up in the foyer, keep the bathrooms cleaned and tidy up the bulletin board. These things cost very little but make a huge difference. These things would still need to be done even if more money WERE put into remodeling. It is pure apathy.
The few security guards' uniforms are baggy and wrinkled.
A lot of the skanky vibe starts in the parking lot. There should be more attention to picking up litter, repainting curbs, gathering carts, straightening cart racks, and putting some security in the parking lot. Some drivers go the wrong way, speed, and some flakey folks loiter around and "chat," or shuffle along with no apparent aim inconveniencing paying traffic. If the exterior were cleaner and had a better security presence (rather than the lobby/foyer only), there might be less of a tendency for scuzzies to loiter and "patronize" the store.
If the store demonstrated a little pride of ownership, maybe it wouldn't attract the Zombies. The more the Zombies take over, the less the actual paying customers want to go there. It is a self-perpetuating downward trend.
If I am anywhere near the Camelback & 20th store, I pop in and check off my list, just so I don't have to visit this store.
