Had high hopes for this local restaurant. Brought my out of town guests here. They don't take reservations so that was stressful but assumed it was because they have fast turnaround based on the menu items. Got there after picking up my last guest from the airport. Love the location, staff seemed nice, had s 30 min wait told to us at check in although there were a bunch of empty but dirty tables. I assumed it was because dinner rush just ended. It was about 8:20 on a Friday. Had drinks at the bar.... strawberry Lenore cocktail was sooooo tasty. Once seated we placed or orders, took a bit to our second round of drinks, had guacamole and fundido for our apps which I really enjoyed not to mention their great salsas (a red and green). Awesome....so far not so bad just a bit slower than expected. Unfortunately this was when it went a bit south.... aside from my husband who got the enchiladas who lived the mole the best out street Tacos were subpar. The pork belly was doggy and chewy, shrimp were average, the other pork taco I forget what it's called my friend said was horrible seasoning and he couldn't eat it, and the chicken was dry..... not to mention we initially were waiting about 35 minutes after Apps and were told our order was lost and the replacement ticket was entered and our food came in minutes?!?! I lived the flour tortillas nice and fresh, but others in the party were surprised that corn tortilla were not an option. I would give this place another try if people were meeting there because drinks were good and apps were good but I regret that my company were so disappointed. Especially since I'm considered the foodie of the group (visiting from Austin and NY). All and all atmosphere is young and hip, drinks well made, location good; but servers seemed way understaffed and not the best trained. There is great potential though.
