Purchased a 2017 Silverado in June, test drove it and tweaked my back exiting the vehicle.
Sales man called me a few days later asking why I hadn't returned. I sent him a text that I was in no hurry to purchase. My pre approval was good until late July and that I needed to find one with nerf bars. He sent me a text, that if, with his managers approval he would have OEM bars that are for the special edition truck I test drove installed at no charge to me. I agreed, went and made the purchase with a large down payment.
When I inquired a week later I was told that it was a process and that when they were ordered and received I would receive a call to have them installed.
Contacted the original Internet sales manager that I had been dealing with, he didn't know anything about it.
Long story short, salesman passed the paperwork on to a person that does not work there anymore. Orders were backed up, he the salesman apologized had them installed.
He was not responsible for the glitch.
Salesman his sales manager and the internet manager called to express their concerns they all assumed that it had been done.
They Autonation Chevrolet carried out the excellent traditional type of service that I and every customer expects and should always receive.
Thank You
