  • I've never updated a review before unless the rating changed, but in this case I just really wanted to. Nicolas Snyder is just amazing; he did great finding bad knots when I first came in and fixing them, but to be fair I could have let my ferret jump on my back and he'd have been as good at locating them, given they were everywhere. (Every single back muscle was in spasm at the time.) What is much more impressive is the fact that he can, when they are much more difficult to locate in various areas now, still find them very, very well. He and Hailie (sp?) are, beyond just being great at what they do, also incredibly good people- they're funny, friendly and warm and just extremely compassionate, which is so important when you're in a lot of pain, and/or like me you have a lot of doctors, many of whom you quite passionately hate. (And with good reason; many are outwardly unkind or at best, indifferent. It doesn't make for a great rapport with patients.) They genuinely care and actually remember things I've mentioned no more than once or twice, like that one of the doctors I see and was quite fond of recently caused me to get quite ill for a week due to a pretty serious screw up- and chatting to them about it, they actually remembered the person and my fondness, and seemed disappointed on my behalf at the aforementioned screw up. I've had 2-4 appointments with various doctors (yes, that many- my body keeps trying to kill me and won't listen to reason) each week since early this year and this is the only one I really don't find a pain in the ass; I can't say I enjoy it, because it does involve a lot of needling of my back- but beyond that it's great ;-) On that note, I will end by saying Nick does an amazing job and my pain from the treatment has been minimal, and what I've had has been expected and pain I was warned about, and, as horrific as my back was after over 2 years of no one knowing how to help me or what to do, for the first time it is improving - and drastically - which I really didn't think possible after so long living with it; now my worst days are almost comparable to my days prior to coming here, and I'm confident they will be on par given another few sessions. I'm not sure if either of you read Yelp, but as always, thanks- I enjoy seeing you and hanging out, even if being stabbed (lulz) for the duration. You're very good at what you do, and I really appreciate the thoughtfulness in general; it really is a rare quality and it makes dealing with my situation so much more tolerable. Edit: If you need blood taken Hailie does an AMAZING job. It always takes several goes for anyone to get mine, and I get it taken often, but she did it first go; something that I can only recall happening one other time in last 5-odd years.
