  • Barhop is really fun, and their selection of craft beer is unreal. I always have a good time here. The bouncer is a little creepy (he hits on virtually every female that walks in the door) and they can be so busy that it's hard to get the bill, but it's worth it. They have exclusive beers from Bellwoods and other brands too because the owners are friends. The food is pretty decent and inexpensive too. The lighting is great, and it's less noisy at lunch. I've gone with a coworker a few times for lunch, and we've always had a great time. It also lacks pretension and is a good place for first date or casual meal with a friend. They should definitely expand- they are crazy busy on almost every night of the week. I would suggest going early on in the evening or afternoon if you're doing drinks and dinner.
