  • I wanted to love this place...I really did. Unfortunately, it just didn't deliver. Yes, I understand that you have to wait for brunch on a Saturday, and yes I understand that the server was swamped. That wasn't my issue. My issue was the overall flavor of the food...bland. My husband had an omelette that was quite skimpy. If I'm paying $8 or $9 for an omelette, I expect more than 2 or 3 small eggs. The flavor just wasn't there, either. Maybe it needed an herb or two; I could have whipped that thing up myself, and I'm a crappy cook. I had a skillet dish with eggs and veggies. It was equally chintzy with a few vegetables, a couple of eggs, and a whole bunch of potatoes. Again, the cook forgot the herbs because the flavor just wasn't there. Potato, egg, and bland vegetables = Boring but expensive. I will say that our server was attentive and nice. It isn't her fault that the food could be served in a nursing home. I just think I'd be better off at Denny's or Waffle House. It would be bland, yes, but a lot less pricey.
