  • As full time residents we actually love living at the Ogden. But I caution anyone wishing to purchase or rent a unit on the 8th floor south side to reconsider. These units have a great large balcony area, with ample space for a full patio set and dining table. Sounds great right ? NO, NO NO. Expect the following from your neighbors above (99% of whom are wonderful, its that 1%). 1. Cigarette butts: OK so not too bad, you have hands to pick them up. 2. Burnt patio cushions: More annoying and costly. But the HOA have allowed me to add storage to protect them, so not so bad. 3. And this is my favorite....Wait for it.....VOMIT all over the deck area and patio furniture. This one is the deal breaker. In this instance the deck area is being cleaned up by the HOA, so the cost will fall to all the residence. The furniture however is down to me, but again the HOA helped me with that by providing someone to help and letting me deal it in the loading bay. While I do commend the HOA, their power is limited. It was made very clear that there is nothing that they can do, unless I can physically catch the person (sorry animal). Next step Cameras !!!!
