Only one gripe honestly and it's a small easy fix.
The water area for the dogs is over concrete with tons of dirt on it. What does water and dirt create? Mud.
So everytime it's even moderately warm or hot my dog wants to lay in the water. Which is cool, but when there's mud there that turns into me having to give her a bath every single time she goes to the dog park and I like taking her out every day.
Getting wet is cool but covered in mud is different. I have to bathe her. I can't let her just sit like that.
Honestly it's a nice park. They keep it clean and the dog owners who go are generally pretty nice. I just wish the water drinking area was cleaned by the staff so that it didn't become a mud pit.... That would be so nice.
If my girl lays down on concrete and water she can cool off without being covered in mud. Now I pretty much only take her to this park once a week because I know it's a guaranteed bath everytime I go. The rest of the days I take her to other parks and we play alone. I wish she could come to this park more often without that issue.
I kinda harped on this one thing the whole time but it is small by itself. Everything else about the park is great and your dog might not even have that issue. Mine just loves to lay on water to cool off. I just wish it was only water and not water and dirt.
Anyways. It's an easy fix. I don't know where else to mention it. If that area wasn't a mud pit I'd say 5 stars. It is still a great park
