  • No line at all, amazing but that's where it stops. Wanted to add 3 additional drivers, the agent says "that will be $12 per day per person". Are you kidding me?? On a 16 day trip that would be $576 which would basically double the rental. CROOKS!!!!! So I paid for no additional drivers, got the keys and immediately called my insurance agent (State Farm) about the extra drivers. For State Farm customers that have collision on their personal vehicles, that coverage transfers to the rental vehicle regardless of whether or not drivers are added to the Thrifty contract. Problem solved as all drivers we had were with State Farm. I suspect this hold true for most carriers. Note: If you have no collision coverage on your personal vehicle then you have no coverage on the rental vehicle.
