Decent donuts but not nearly worth all the hype around them.
They do have some very creative flavours but overall the style of their doughnut isn't for me. I would prefer less dough and a more airy texture - but I recognize this as a personal preference. Also, the regular size is huge! Go for the minis.
I'd give it a 3 star rating due to the above preference and the steep price. I think the price point is a bit high, especially when you compare similarly priced products that are executed much better such as those from The Doughnut Plant in NYC.
The mismatch in quality to price-point is something I think that plagues most gourmet doughnut shops in Toronto. It's hard to go back knowing that there is better out there for the same price (or less).
That said, for Toronto's scene, they offer pretty good (relative) value and were my choice when I treated my old office to a couple dozen of their mini-doughnuts.
