  • Living in the heart of the city, I have pretty much anything I want at my finger tips and don't need to travel far to get it. Sunset and Vines at the Lakes of Las Vegas is a different story, however, but well worth the trip. This is the place in the Las Vegas area to enjoy wine! They carry labels from all over the world and are great about taking time to find out what you like in a wine, help you understand the varietals and the region that support your palate and have introduced me to many vintners that have become part of my favorites list. Not only are they kind in their approach, but they have several sommeliers on staff to guide you in your wine experience. And they are reasonably priced! Everything about this place is different from most of my experiences at other wine bars at home and on holiday. The staff also helps you select accoutrements that compliment your wine selection. They have the best cheese selection in Las Vegas and many tapas style dishes that can enhance the wine experience. With the ambiance of the lake surrounded by mountains, a quiet little bistro table in an Italian inspired courtyard, friendly staff and a great bottle in your hand...Sunset and Vines truly defines the wine experience. Las Vegas is lucky to have such a great wine venue tucked into its perimeter and only a short drive away!
