  • Well now!!! As I stated in my original review, the alarm system was not repaired and on Tuesday May 8th my apartment was broken into at 205am as I slept!! Thank GOD my boyfriend was there to hear it and scare the invader back out the kitchen window he came. I slept so heavy that night that I heard NOTHING. This could have been far worse had I been there alone. I am scared to death to sleep and sudden noises have me jumping out of my skin. The police were called, of course, and took prints/report/statements. Apparently the security that is supposed to be doing rounds decided to plant himself at the main entrance. (because our security gates are inoperable and have been for going on 2months now) Main gate and our gate (which happens to be the darkest corner of the complex). Even after calling the answering service for the complex,the security officer failed to arrive to the apartment at any point! I also left a message at the leasing office in regards to this, to which, no phone was placed to me. At almost NOON, I went to the leasing office that morning to deliver a copy of the police report and to inquire as to why they did not feel it was necessary to make this a priority. The manager, Vianney FINALLY contacted the alarm company to get them out to make the repairs. I literally looked at her and told her that it was a shame something horrible had to happen in order for action to be taken. The disregarded look on her face had me enraged so I (as calmly as I could) reminded her that this situation could have been absolutely tragic and instead of repairing an alarm they could be dealing with a fatal crime scene. How can you not take this seriously when you have a female in an apartment that an intruder violated???? And worse then that is that my neighbors (females) literally just had attempted burglary that they walked in on!!! This place is awful and I want OUT!!! I can't sleep, I can't function and I am afraid of every noise in my apartment!!
