We were referred to this hospital from our groomer. Our dog had a nasty cough. My wife brought our dog in on a Thursday morning. Dr. Kempf diagnosed our dog as having Kennel Cough, gave us the prescriptions and we were out of there.
Later that night we were looking at my dog's underbelly and saw these large red bruises. We went back to the clinic and saw Dr. Jones and immediately asked us if he could run a blood test. Turns out our dog had a blood disease which would probably be terminal. Dr Jones gave us more meds to see if our dog would make an improvement, however by Saturday morning after a long night of struggled breathing we had to make the decision to put him down.
Dr. Kempf gets 1 star for his misdiagnosis, lack of thorough exam and the fact we got charged for his stupidity.
Dr Jones get 5 stars for his obvious professional capabilities.
The gals who work there get 5 stars for their friendliness and compassion.
This is how we arrived at 3 stars.
