| - The staff are nice and the actual theater where you watch the movie is reasonably OK. Since we attended a matinee for a movie that had already been playing for a couple weeks, it wasn't crowded, but the sound in the theater was VERY loud especially during the previews. The seats are modern but don't really recline and don't have electronic controls.They have these weird flip-up armrests where you have to forcefully, manually pull them down into place to get the armrest and cup holder. We were looking for an electronic button or lever because the armrest wasn't moving when we pulled it, and had to be told by a worker that they actually just pulled down by hand but you had to pull very hard. This isn't a showstopper but at the same time it's hard to pull down a stuck armrest when your hands are full of cups and popcorn.
Worst feature of this theater is the entrance. First we had to drive all around the mall looking for where you go in because the entrance is tiny and stuck back in a far corner of the mall. Second, when we found it there wasn't a good spot to just drop someone off in front of the entrance - the road is very narrow there so you're blocking traffic. Then, even though the entrance we entered by has a big Regal theater sign right over it, when we went in we discovered we were at the end of a long hallway into the mall itself with no sign of a movie theater, and it was necessary to walk down this long hallway into the main mall and then turn left and walk even farther to the theater and then turn left again and walk past MORE stores to get to the theater lobby, which was a pain. Other people were also coming in and having difficulty figuring out which way to go to get to the actual theater. Most places, you just walk inside the doors and you're in the lobby, you don't have to hunt around for it.
When we left after the movie, we tried going out a back door that said "Exit" in hopes of getting to the parking lot faster without having to walk all the way back through the mall. The "Exit" took us through a deserted hallway with another "Exit" that led to a bigger deserted hallway and a third "Exit" that finally led outside. They need an entrance and exit that goes straight to the parking lot without having to leave a breadcrumb trail.
Also wasn't thrilled with ordering buttered popcorn, getting a bag that was lightly touched with butter on top and none underneath, then finding there were no butter stations for me to add my own once I got past the top layer. Nor were there any salt shakers for the popcorn - just little bitty packets of salt. Given that the popcorn is way overpriced, the least they can do is provide the condiments people want to put on it.
