  • Went by today while waiting on our truck to be serviced nearby and I'm glad we did. It's been about 20 years since I've been in a pawn shop and I was apprehensive, but Mike, the owner, had me at hello. He's fair and smart about the things he buys and sells. He's got a passion for old money and has an interesting collection (not for sale) on display. He likes to keep unique things so people can have a "pawn shop" experience and see something new. John liked the old Indian money, but my favorite thing was the double stacked bookshelf of dvd's. I watched a couple sit on the floor and dig through them--it was nostalgic. I mean, who doesn't remember going to Blockbuster and just sifting through for fun. Stop by and see what he's got!
