After researching for a tire store in Las Vegas I decided to purchase a set of tires here for my mom since her car was going to need a set of four tires in about three thousand miles and she didn't want to take a chance on driving back to Ferndale, WA with older tires. The associate was good and recommended a set of Michelins which were the most expensive tires for my mom's Corolla but I decided that it was a good deal for about $109 a piece, a $70 rebate and 95k mile tires. The service was good and they were fast (within an hour) since they were busy. The reason for the three stars was that the $70 is actually pretty tricky because, it's a rebate alright but not by rebate standards that I've seen. The associate told me what the total was and I thought to myself...this doesn't add up so I decided to sit down and add up the prices with tax on my cell phone's calculator. I did the math several times and it still came up with quite a bit less on the total bill. When the tires were done and I received the statement...to my surprise the rebate was added into the total bill so it was $70 plus tax on four tires and then I had a choice to get that money back that was added onto our bill by either filling out the hardcopy and mailing it in to get our money back or do it electronically online. So please be aware that you are actually not getting a rebate on the total price of the tire(s) but the rebate is added onto the total bill.
