  • I was over due to check my valve clearances on my '01 CBR 929RR. I spent hours calling different mechanics, asking how long it would take and how much it would be per/hour, and of course I wanted someone who knew what he was doing. It's not easy to find someone, but I finally did, and his name is Scot. I talked on the phone with him and after a few minutes I knew he was my guy. We both had a busy day, but he still came out to work on my bike even though it was 7pm. I was in the garage with him while he worked on my bike, and answered all my questions thoroughly and patiently. He is also the fastest, most efficient mechanic I have seen. I'm not talking about sloppy fast, I am talking about like a surgeon. He is quick, efficient and precise. He had checked my valve clearances, tightened my chain, and helped me diagnose some other problems in under 3 hours. (most of the other mechanics quoted me 4+ hours to check the clearances and 6 if they needed to be adjusted). . Long story short, I would recommend this guy absolutely! Especially if your busy like I am, he comes to you! I am sure I could go on, but I have to get back to work. Hope my little write-up helped you with your search for a mechanic.
