| - OMG is all I can say. I tried out this place when I was supposed to meet a work colleague there at her suggestion. She got her days mixed up on her calendar, so she didn't make it, but I stayed because it just smelled and looked so appealing, and boy was I glad! It has to be one of the best meals I have had in a long time. I had the quiche (green chile variety), which also came with soup or salad. I had the tomato basil soup (definitely not like the canned Campbell's variety). It also had a triangle of bread, buttered, and two slices of tomato. Then for dessert I splurged and got the peach-raspberry cobbler. Oh my. The best cobbler I've ever had of any flavor. Everything is so simple yet "gourmet" and the emphasis is on fresh ingredients and great taste. There are also lots of vegetarian options if you lean that way (which I do). The waitstaff is very friendly and approachable, and the owner came out and talked to some of the patrons, whom she (and other employees) knew by name. My only gripe was that day the light wasn't working properly in their restroom so I went to the bathroom in almost total darkness. LOL :) Also, if you order soda, it comes from a can, so it's not like you can just top off your glass at the soda fountain. But overall, this is the best-kept lunchtime secret in Chandler. Shhhhhh! Don't tell anyone, because it's not overly huge and I want to save a table for myself.
