  • Back in January we wanted to trade in our Mustang a few months early from our lease end date and they were willing to work with us. George was our salesman and he was really nice and Jacob was the finance manager. After going back and forth with Ford they finally said that they would pay 2 months of our installments in order to end the lease early and we could purchase our new car. Great! We signed the paperwork and thought everything was handled until I got my statement from Ford saying that I needed to make next month's payment. I called Jacob and he said that I could just ignore it and that it was taken care of. Then I start getting calls from Ford credit saying it was past due. I explained to them that the dealership was supposed to take care of the payment. Then I get the next month's bill. Now it says I'm 2 months past due. I get ANOTHER call from Ford credit saying that I owed. I explained again that Gaudin was supposed to be paying for 2 months of our installments. I get in contact with Jacob again and he assures me that he spoke with so and so and it is all taken care of. I questioned him on whether this was going to negatively affect my credit score which was in the high 700s when I purchased. He said no and that it was all taken care of. Now it is July and I get denied a credit card due to delinquent accounts. I check my credit score and it has dropped over 100 points due to 2 delinquent payments. In my 16 years of credit, I have NEVER had one late payment. I call Ford credit and they told me that I have to send them copies of all of the paperwork and my credit scores in order for them to investigate. I tried emailing both Jacob and George and never got a reply. They clearly don't care about customer retention or the fact that I am now having to pay for credit monitoring to make sure that this all gets resolved and that my credit score gets fixed. Lesson learned: if it is too good to be true, you're probably right. They also obviously don't care what their customers think because I see that there are no replies to any of the MANY negative Yelp reviews listed on here. We love the car we bought but we will NEVER go back to this dealership again. Thanks for messing up my credit.
