| - After a spectacular opening night, I finally made it back to Lili Co. for brunch. The menu has something for everyone, and while none of the fare is conventional, it is absolutely delicious. I had a vietnamese-style crepe, which was generously portioned, filled with tender shrimp, expertly-marinated tofu, and delicate veggies. A stand-out tangy sauce and gorgeous bouquet of greens topped things off.
I also had the Pimm's Lemonade cocktail, which I enjoyed as a light, alcoholic alternative to my healthier lemon-water routine.
In terms of atmosphere, this place is golden. Because it's small, it can get packed quickly, however if you hit the time right, it's perfect. Lili Co. is easily the best date restaurant in Montreal, as it's quiet enough to hear each other, has food you have to talk about, and service that will only make things better; plus it's just flippin' cute.
