| - With mixed reviews, I decided to give Dr. Chuang a chance. This was a pretty convenient location and finding good a doctor without recommendations is hard to do, especially when you're new in town.
I had this lingering cold, constant daily cough attacks for an entire month. During which time, I found treatment and a medication prescribed by Dr. Chuang that proved effective. The problem didn't go away immediately, but it worked out. A whole pack of strong antibiotics did do the trick. Dr. Chuang was actually my second doctor since the second week of my coughing, appeared to progressively get worse. Dr. Chuang was pleasant, she listened to me and was attentive in her treatment.
Fast forward a few months later. I had another problem with my heart racing, running out of breath for just walking a couple of steps. For a health conscious person, this was an odd phenomenon that my body is not used to and I cannot recognize the issues. Again, she gave me some antibiotics, hoping the symptoms would go away.
This time, she scold me that I'm a walk-in person, who just happen to fit into her tight schedule. She proceeds to tell me that I'm giving her too much symptoms to deal with today and she can't diagnose me with everything. I'm sick, I'm shocked at her behavior and desperate to find answers to my health problems. I made an appointment, so how am I labeled as a walk-in person? Second off, she sent in an assistant to ask me my symptoms, I list my symptoms. Then, she turns around and abruptly brushes me off. Needless to say, I still followed her instructions for the antibiotics, which did nothing for me.
After doing online research, I had much more serious problems that another doctor confirmed. I'm still under review, under a lot of medication, but at least my condition is under control.
With Dr. Chuang's bad bedside manners, just because she's busy, cannot be passed down to her patients. I regret going back a second time and being misdiagnosed even after all the symptoms that I told her. I would never go back. If she's in a bad mood, you get crap service and misdiagnosed health problems. If she's in a good mood, you will get the right treatments. These are just my personal experiences with Dr. Chuang and I cannot jeopardize my health with that experience again.
