Having lived in Las Vegas for a year my wife and I never knew there was a Chinatown. The instant we heard about it we got in the car and headed there. It's a pretty cool place, tons of places to eat and a little shops to check out. We didn't eat there but we did enjoy looking around in the shops.
For the most part all the shop owners were very nice and courteous. There was one who tried to haggle other customers into buying her products, it just ended in the being driven away.
If you're looking for something different from the usual Vegas things or want to go on a little adventure I would head on down. There's also a lot of other things to see around the area.
