  • Around midafternoon......bored & wanting to do something productive. Decided to tag along with a friend and go Hiking. Did a lil research and decided upon Spring Mountain Ranch. Once we Turned left onto the trail leading us to the park itself, I knew right away I was going to like this location. Pls beware that once you do enter into the grounds, you'll be expected to pay $9 for entry(Not too bad). Arriving there around 330-4pm....we parked and headed on out towards the trail. I've done quite a bit of hiking....but let me assure you this hike you will embark on will be a fun and exciting one. The hike itself is not hard at all....it's perfect for the beginner's in hiking. The thing i found extremely shocking is that they have a actually lake~! It's called lake Harriet & you'll see ducks swimming in it. Pretty crazy ....I woulda never expected to see a lake there. You'll also spot a bunch of animals....I saw like 5 Donkey's....A army of desert rabbits, even saw a deer.The Scenery is wonderful. You will not be disappointed. Happy Hiking
