| - Purchased a bed frame, 2 night stands and a sofa sectional in December. Its NOW delivery day in FEBRUARY and was told by delivery driver no sofa on his list!!! Contacted Corporate Customer Service who stated they don't have any order on their paperwork for the sofa sectional??!!!!!! They said they would contact the store once they open for compensation and will contact me. Well the lady I spoke to with Corporate didn't call me back as she stated she would once I email her my receipt (which I did immediately getting off the phone with her!) However a lady from the business office at the Ashley location called me stating the sofa I purchased was discontinued! NO ONE BOTHERED TO LET ME KNOW WHEN THEY QUICKLY TOOK MY MONEY BACK IN DECEMBER??!!!!! Well I asked to be reimburse and for the warranty as well. I also asked for partial reimbursement for the delivery which she claim it cost $150 (standard fee for sales over $1k) I think it sounds like bullshit!!! ( My debit card was credited back within 3 days ) Went to the Ashley store (on the DL) next day because I felt they were shady!!! Me and my husband seen THE EXACT SOFA STILL ON DISPLAY! Jan (Salesperson) said she looked it up and found it to be discontinue, she check with the lady in the business office who came to us and said she doesn't show it being discontinued?!! So I explained why I was there and asked for the Manager. He came and said he remember hearing about my challenge day prior and then said the sectional is discontinued with in the "power mode" for the recliner but available manually. DAMN 3 DIFFERENT STORIES ALL WITHIN 24 HRS! Manager said he will compensate me and will give me a deal, to let Jan handle it from their on. Well we left to get our son and Jan said she would follow up with us and since she already had our info in the system, the transaction could be done by phone. Well she did call us back, gave us a price knocking $200 from what we paid for, said OK we wanted to go ahead and purchase AGAIN.... She said a lady from the business office will call us to confirm and set things up. FOUR DAYS LATER, NO CALL..... NOTHING!!!!!! ASHLEY'S, THE PEOPLE WE DEALT WITH THUS FAR ARE ALL FULL OF IT!!! LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!!!!!! DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY DOING, LACK OF COMMUNICATION BUT QUICK TO TAKE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!
WE WENT TO RC WILLEY, HAD GREAT SERVICE.... TOLD THEM ABOUT OUR HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH ASHLEY'S.... WE ALL HAD A GOOD LAUGH KNOWING THEY HAD MANY OTHER PEOPLE WHO WEREN'T PLEASED AS WELL WITH ASHLEY'S AND ALSO MADE THEIR PURCHASE INSTEAD WITH RC WILLEY!! BEST PART IS MY SOFA SECTIONAL I PURCHASED WITH RC WILLEY'S WILL BE DELIVERED ON VALENTINE'S DAY!!!! LESS THAN A WEEK FROM MY PURCHASE.... SOMETHING THAT ASHLEY'S COULDN'T DO!!! LIKE I SAID IN BEGINNING....QUICK TO TAKE MY MONEY BUT MADE ME WAIT A MONTH AND A HALF TO DELIVER!!!!!!!!
I WILL NEVER SHOP THEIR AGAIN AND WILL SHARE MY EXPERIENCE WITH EVERYONE TO MAKE SURE THEY DON'T EXPERIENCE THE BULLSHIT I HAD TO DEAL WITH!!! AND BY THE LOOK OF THE REVIEWS HERE ON YELP, I'M NOT THE ONLY UNSATISFIED PERSON!!!!
