I brought my son here with a laceration in his eyebrow. There was not a doctor on staff. The nurse practitioner assured me she had handled this type of situation many times before. She said she was planning on using glue (Dermabond). Once she completed the procedure I could tell immediately that she had done a terrible job. The laceration was glued OPEN. The nurse who assisted also assured me they had done this several times. Once they were completed she looked at the NP and asked how long it takes the glue to dry. Clearly they did not know what they were doing. We left the urgent care and went straight to the ER where the doctor told me that you never us Dermabond in an eyebrow and they were unable to undo what was done. Since the procedure was complete it has bleed several times. I can only imagine at this point how large the scar will be.
