  • Went on a Lolly the Trolley Christmas lights tour in the evening and had an excellent experience! I called ahead to reserve tickets and had no problems. We arrived about 15 minutes early, used the bathroom, and then boarded the trolley. The tour was great! In about 1 hr and 45 min, we saw Public Square with all the Christmas lights and drove through the Flats, Downtown, Tremont, and Ohio City. Our tour guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and I learned so much about Cleveland's history that I had no idea about! And don't worry about the cold; the trolley was warm enough with a coat, hat, and scarf. The only thing to be aware of is that the trolley runs on gas/diesel and since the windows are plastic zip-up windows, you can smell the gas/diesel inside the trolley, which was a bit irritating to my throat. So minus a star for that. Overall, I'd highly recommend this tour as a great way to learn about Cleveland! I get the sense that you'd enjoy it whether or not you were a native Clevelander
