  • Yay, after a long wait, Kensington Brewing Company is finally open in Kensington Market! The beer is excellent, and buck-a-shuck oysters on Monday are good quality, unlike at some establishments, where they cheap out on this loss leader. The owners have been terrific to those of us who "invested" in the Community Supported Beer program oh-so-long-ago, and have hosted a couple of beer events over the years to thank us for our patience. Free tours and tastings for CSB members in the weeks following the opening were also a nice touch. Washrooms are main floor and to code - yay for wheelchair accessibility! Now, just find a way for your machines to let me use that old gift card I've been carrying around for years!
