  • Ok, 3 stars for the food alone. I have to say I was impressed with the quality...and a restaurant that makes my very food-closeted friend try something new (pork belly), gets some stars from me. The pork belly was amazing, just like I used to eat growing up, crunchy and fatty. The mahi mahi tacos were pretty good, but I mostly liked the sauce cause the fish was just a piece of fried fish. The tortillas were the size of a silver dollar...I'm just warning those expecting huge tacos here. For dessert we had the churros...not my favorite since they deviated from the normal fried dough to a chocolate one, and served it with some espresso milkshake that was incredibly creamy. Still wondering if they add condensed milk or something like that. The ambiance in the patio was pretty nice, quiet enough, nice weather. But I still found this place overpriced. Went out to dinner twice in a weekend to Scottsdale, and both times I was horrified by the prices. I guess I'm paying for the ambiance and trendiness. I would recommend this place to people but warning them to go get their drinks somewhere else since they are not special, but they charge you special prices (wink, wink).
