  • This is a fantastic facility, and it is easily among the best that Charlotte has to offer. All of the employees are friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and professional. The shop part of the facility is a showroom, with all of the firearms in glass cases. Prices really varied; some were competitive and some were high, but you can say that about nearly every gun shop. There's a really good selection, including some other firearms that I haven't seen in stock at other shops or online. After viewing a safety video and signing a waiver, it was time to use the range. There are a variety of firearms available for rent (not as many as some other ranges), as well as eye and ear protection if you need it. There's also a nice lounge area with drinks and snacks, and there's a VIP area for range members. The range itself is state-of-the-art, and target carriers are all computer controlled, allowing you to set specific distances. There are tables for organizing your gear and even a coat rack to help keep the area clutter-free. While there were no issues while I was shooting, the range officer was very attentive, and I felt completely safe while I was shooting. I can't say that about all ranges I've been to. The only thing keeping me from being a more regular customer is Blackstone's location, which is a bit of a drive for me. If that weren't the case, this would be my preferred range.
