  • Went to check out this apartment complex with a friend and after this experience we decided this was not the place for her. We knew they were closing soon at 5pm so as we were in the parking lot we called to see if the sales person would still be ok to take us on a tour at 4:40pm. She was very nice on the phone and said "Absolutely! Come on in!" In person she was very different and barely made eye contact when we came in. She ran through the options as if she was hurrying to get through her script so she could close up and go home. As we started to walk out of the office to see the model a resident asked if the sales woman could grab a package that was delivered for him out of the mail area before she took us on the tour. Sounded like an easy request but she abruptly said no and began to walk away. He nicely said, "it will just take a second and you can continue the tour?" She again snapped back and said "no, they were here first." The two proceeded to argue about it back and forth in front of us and my friend and I just stood and watched in shock. We felt awkward about walking away with the sales woman to see the model but we didn't feel we had much time to react because she had already started walking without us. We went through the model quickly, feeling very rushed the entire time. However, at this point we were simply going through the motions. As we walked back we assumed the sales woman would open the office and invite us in to take a seat while she grabbed the man's package who was still impatiently waiting for her to return. Instead, she opened the office, grabbed my friends ID and handed it back and quickly dismissed us saying "have a good weekend, here's my card if you have other questions." Needless to say, we left in shock and completely disgusted with the customer service. We would have much rather she told us she couldn't do any additional tours that day when we called 20 mins before closing. We would have happily arranged for another day and time. Not to mention that we just got a glance of how she treats their current residents when they come in and make a simple request like getting a package.
