As a green valley local I had been anxiously waiting for them to open and I can say I'm completely pleased. I visit Mothership about once a week. The staff doesn't have a high turnover so it's nice to see the same faces when I go in. They offer dine in where they'll serve you beverage in cute blue mugs with matching plates and for to go they have simple white cups (double cups for espresso drinks). It's such a clean, fresh, welcoming environment both inside and outside which I love. Inside also has a row of the counter behind glass dedicated to pastries made locally that include vegan pockets, , lavender twinkie, quiches, biscotti, and BEER JELLY chocolate!! They're all quite tasty. The vegan sausage pocket was not what I had hoped it would be but still good and filling.
My go to on a late start to a weekend morning running errands or after gym pick me up:
hot americano w/ extra shot
*their coffee is unreal, it's truly great quality coffee. You can almost taste the small roast batch effect with each cup you enjoy.
&
1-2 pieces of local chocolate (they have various flavors with chocolate ganache filling). They're about the size of a quarter and a 1/4 inch thick. They're the perfect little sweet touch to an unsweetened espresso drink.
**if you're a cold brew person, their nitro options is beyond good and will have you productive for hours!!
