  • If you're looking for someone to do a nice looking job then they'll do, but if you're looking for a job that will last DO NOT go with GreenCare. I had my backyard done when I first moved into my home. It looked nice, nothing complicated. Shortly after it was done, I noticed the pavers they used to extend my patio we're extremely uneven. I thought this was from the ground settling but there are pavers that are completely out and sticking out of the ground that someone could trip on. Not u til a couple months ago when I had another contractor come out to do other work did I find out what the real issue was. GreenCare never took into account drainage needs. They basically put the patio extension and turf onto the existing backyard and didn't place any drainage in. When my new contractor arrived, they could clearly see the issue was caused from pooling water. The contractor place one drainage area and removed the water that was under the turf. Because of this, there is a hole in the ground under the turf that if you step on, you'll fall. I contacted GreenCare regarding this and got nothing short of the run around. First they sent out an employee to look at the problems. The employee came out (completely unscheduled, I basically was lucky I was home the day they decided to come, no call ahead no schedule. They just show up) and told me they see the issue, it is from a bad job that they did and someone would be out next week to fix the problems. He also asked me how much I paid for the work initially because he thought the company had probably charged me a hefty amount for what was done. They next week came and went and I didn't hear from the company. At this point the run around began. They say they'll call back and they don't. After multiple calls to them they told me I needed to send them the contract that was signed when I had the work done. I finally tracked this down and it says nothing in it regarding time from or even of time frame of warranty for their terrible workmanship. The company has completely stopped responding now and I have to have my private contractor do the work to fix the problems from GreenCare. Based on past reviews, it seemed the owner responded and cared, but it doesn't appear that happens anymore. So I'll just say, I'd advise you use someone else to do your lawn. Their work may look nice initially but they are just charging a lot and doing it fast, taking shortcuts and you'll regret spending your money with them!
