  • Beware customers--don't believe anything Jose says. I never received any product after giving Jose my deposit of $1,156.00...he did nothing, he robbed my deposit. Jose flat out robbed my money, he never made any attempt to make my cushions or return my deposit. If you still feel lucky and want to do business with Anything Upholstery, do not give this guy cash--you'll have no way of getting any money back. I was 3 weeks shy of the 3-month deadline to file a bank claim to reverse the bank charge. It took another 3 months to get the bank's final decision (8/6/16). Jose's comment (below) is more lies--guess I'm not surprised, Jose never apologized or mailed any check like he's claimed. I have not talked to him since he kicked me out of his store back in May for posting this review. In my opinion, any positive postings are most likely false. This guys scamming people, have been told by an employee--I'm not the only one he's robbed. History. On March 11, 2016, I paid $1,156.00 to Jose Rodriguez, General Manager of Anything Upholstery, 3636 E Main St, Mesa AZ 85205, to make new rv cushions and Jose quoted approx. 5 weeks production time. Every time I called on the status, I got excuses, the due date kept getting extended and after 10-weeks still no cushions (please note this is a 2-day job). In addition, I made 4 trips to the shop to view the fabric...in 10-weeks, Jose never purchased the fabric! At Jose's request on Friday, May 20, I met with Jose at his shop for a refund, after making another 45 min. drive to Mesa, Jose told me to leave the shop and he was going to sue me for defamation of character for posting this review and his attorney would be contacting me (never happened). I offered to take down the review if he returned my money.
