| - It's really a 3.5 but it's a great option that's affordable to stay when there's a convention at Planet Hollywood. It's only around a 100 bucks a night, 100's of dollars cheaper than Planet Hollywood. If I booked it the night of the convention, it was $25.00 bucks.
The staff was cool when checking me in, and knew the area really well, with good direction/advice which way is best to get to the strip via walking/what streets to avoid.
The room was really nice. Did not look like your typical cheap hotel. Granite and nice tile. Large flat screen, high count sheets, and no tacky comforters. More like plushy pillow down comforters and plump pillows and a soft bed. Also, it had a fridge, nice for left overs, Planet Hollywood's rooms, don't have fridges.
Also, fun tip if you know people going to the convention and staying at the Planet Hollywood, you can use their key to have access to a gym.
The walk to the convention center was about 20 minutes and you go through Paris, not too shabby. And about 15 to the strip.
Happy with my stay, room was also quite and the maid didn't barge in at 8am.
