I have high expectations when it comes to Indian food, not fair! I know!!. Maharani is exactly in the middle of good and bad. I have had the buffet and have ordered off the menu, I would suggest the latter if you want to get a proper feel for their food. The food is good. The naans are soft and the curries usually good. I would not order the paneer tikka masala the reason being that the masala, I am certain is made from store bought tomato paste. Its no wonder that the panner tikka is a bright red and tangier than required. The kadhai paneer and the malai kofta are just as they are supposed to be. The best part of their food is that it is entirely predictable. Order in or take out on a Sunday evening to get incredibly good and fresh food and see the same dishes gradually go down in quality as the week progresses! My husband and I have seen this happen enough number of times to call this 'Statistically Significant". Go here if you dont ever plan to be surprised. You get what you order and expect.
