| - This office has got to be the WORST WORST WORST I have ever been to!
The receptionists up front are clueless and rude. I have NEVER once been seen on time or within a half hour of my appointment, I'm always waiting for at least 45 minutes to an hour and a half. This last visit I was told my doctor stepped out for an "emergency". Which is probably the 3rd time I've head that and had to reschedule my appointment. This is after they switched my appointment day, time, and doctor. I love how they just decided to change my doctor from a female to a male without even asking me. I had just been released from the hospital less than 72 hours prior to the appointment so this was my follow up. When told my doctor wasn't in and I couldn't be seen that day, I asked why my original doctor couldn't see me, and my answer was she already has appointments and is running behind. Well that's great. They inconvenienced me by changing my day, time, and doctor, so I expected them to figure something out. The receptionist comes back 5 minutes later and tells me it was all a mistake, my doctor was in fact in office.
My last visit I told my doctor my boyfriend had HPV or had been exposed, I wasn't really sure what HPV was or how it worked. I asked her to check me for it on my Pap smear and she basically laughed at me telling me I was too young and it's not a big deal. Well that's funny, because this time when I came in, the guy doctor told me I tested 100% positive for HPV and needed to have a colposcopy done. I also told the doctor I was interested in starting bc and wanted to discuss my options and he told me they're all basically the same and he would write a prescription for me to pick up. I'm not a doctor by any means, but I'm positive there's hundreds of different types of bc, including a shot, IUD, pill, low estrogen. Why was I not given any options?
I then get a call from my pharmacy telling me I have a prescription ready for pick up, but is not covered under my insurance. They told me they spoke with my doctor and he said I need to call my insurance to find out which bc is covered under my insurance, pick one, and call that one in. Even the pharmacist was in awe and almost laughing because she had never heard of a doctor telling a patient to find their own bc.
At checkout I did their customer satisfaction survey. At the end it asked if I wanted a manager to contact me about my experience. I obviously put yes and my phone number. We'll see if they actually care enough to call or respond to my post. I'm not the only person that has written a bad review on here, so I don't seem to be the problem, but the establishment is. I would give this place zero stars if possible. Stay away from here! My doctors were Marsha Brown and Dr. Howard. I used to see Shelia Tact who was absolutely amazing. No wonder she left this location, I would be ashamed to work there too!!
