I'm unsure of the mediocre rating this theater is getting. I feel like this location is better than the Chandler spot. The leather seats are comfortable and the service is awesome. Yes, the ADH process is different from other movie dining places I've been to. There's no button to push for service, instead you stand up a piece of white paper with your order printed in it and servers should know to swing by and take the order. Not as user friendly but it works. Also, the dining tables are not individually assigned. Instead you share with a partner seat. This makes things odd for parties of 3 (or any odd number) since you may be sharing with a stranger. Get let these couple of things and the overall experience is great.
Alamo is a big enforcer of the "no phones no talking" rule. You get one warning and then you're out without a refund. I've seen it enforced and it really helps improve the movie watching experience. There's also no commercials or fluff prior to the film starting. Instead you're treated to a themed montage of clips, trivia, etc. associated with the feature film. We saw Solo and there was so many great Star Wars clips it was super fun. This is the flair that Alamo has where other theater chains lack.
All theater features are what you'd expect in a modern facility: huge HD screen, Dolby surround sound, comfy seats ... it's all there. No complaints from me.
Use the Alamo app to purchase tickets, check for upcoming events, keep track of your film history and collect "victory rewards" as you keep visiting them. Honestly Alamo is a nice break from the same old chains we've grown up seeing movies in. Prices are competitive (or cheaper) and the kitschy vibes are a nice welcomed addition to the overall experience. See you at the movies!
