My sister recommended I try Angel Nails. I made my apt. For Sat at 10am for a gel Mani.
I walked in and to my surprise there were only three other customers so I was seated right away.
I was offered a bottle of water which I needed for my dry throat. TV was on with subtitles and music playing at a nice volume.
The shop is large and we'll decorated. It has a relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful wall art. Plants and even a fish tank.
I had picked a glitter nail polish but was told that shade was an extra charge. I'm glad I had asked how much extra because it was $8! Wow No thank you.
I picked a different color. If it was only $1-$2 extra I would have been fine.
In the pictures you can't tell but in person you can see the polish isn't entirely opaque. It needed a third thin layer. I did like that the tools used came from a sterilized sealed bag. The polish was not gooey. It looked fairly new meaning better application and wear time.
At other place its old and gooey and you can tell they are havering a hard time applying it evenly so they go to get a different bottle only to find that one is old too.
So far I like this place. It's clean. Relaxing. The employees are nice and they seem to get along with each other. I recommend giving Angel Nails a try.
One week later: a couple nails are starting to chip. That's disappointing.
