  • Loved, loved, loved the atmosphere and the wine. The restaurant has indoor seating where they take reservations and outdoor patio seating (no reservations) where you can buy dinner or lunch and wine. I sat outside on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and it was the perfect amount of sun and a nice breeze. There is a wooden arbor covering most of the outdoor patio that provides some nice shade and the grounds are gorgeous. It has a very European feel to it. The only reason this didn't get five stars is because the food was just ok (three stars) and overpriced for what you got. I ordered the lobster mac and cheese which was $18.99 but I've made better mac and cheese in my own kitchen. There was barely any sauce on the noodles, the lobster was just sort of tossed on top of the dish and there just wasn't that much flavor. The other members of my party got the lasagna and a margherita pizza. Again, the lasagna was just ok. The best meal was the pizza. When I go back again, I think I'll opt for one of their salads and wine or just appetizers and wine. The wines are fabulous too. My absolute favorite is the reisling (which is actually sold at Lidias as well). I also really enjoy the sangria, and I've tried some of the flavored wines (peach, red raspberry, black raspberry, etc), which are very sweet. You can go inside and sample before you're seated for your meal so you can decide what you want to order. I recommend getting a full bottle as I think the highest priced bottle is $15 (versus $6-8 per glass price) and they'll recork it for you and you can take the bottle home if you don't finish. Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays, they have live outdoor music on the stage. The pavilion and grass seating are in front of the stage. The pavilion area can be reserved for groups and parties. In the pavilion and grass area, you bring your own food/picnic and chairs or sit at their picnic tables and you just need to buy a bottle of wine inside. They provide plastic cups for out here when you purchase your wine. There were a ton of families with coolers and picnic baskets and some even brought their own tents to set up. It reminded me a little bittle of a smaller Hartwood Acres.
