  • This was literally the worst living experience I could've imagined. Rude, unhelpful office staff, creepy security guards and total a-hole maintenance people. During the two years I lived there, the quality of living dramatically lowered. And do not let the model apartments fool you: Your apartment will not look anything like them. There are major issues with water damage, mold, and the phone jacks don't work. Not to mention, there's only one cable outlet per apartment, which is ridiculous. When I needed things fixed, I was treated as an inconvenience. I had major repairs needed after a pipe burst and they waited 30 days, until after I threatened legal action, to fix it. And the crew that came to fix it did a half ass job because they don't know what they're doing, because they don't hire licensed contractors. The rent goes up every year for absolutely no reason, and don't expect your rent to stay the same during the course of a year lease, because they regularly jack up the cost of utilities. And they shut off air conditioning to all units normally starting in November. Maybe that wouldn't be a big deal in some places, but we live in Arizona and it does not ever get cold enough to where air conditioning can be turned off for months on end. And they generally won't turn it back on until March of the next year. Yes, 5 months without air conditioning per lease term. And those apartments get HOT. They do not stay nice and cool. They're almost unbearably hot. Then, they shut off your water about twice a month with absolutely no warning whatsoever, so if you wanted to take a shower or brush your teeth before work, tough luck those random days. Please, find anywhere else to live. This place is a nightmare. An extremely overpriced nightmare at that. I left that place paying $970 a month for a 2 bed/2 bath. I found a much bigger, nicer apartment in Mesa for about the same rate and I've never been happier. Save yourself the trouble and cross it off your list of potential homes.
