I came to Vegas from a place where I went to a old family babershop for most of my life. After not being able to find that same atmosphere around where I live I was relegated to trying out various supercusts/cost cutters/etc type places. I ran into this Sport Clips and thought I'd give it a try as the last Supercuts I went to had a nasty lady that wanted to do nothing but talk about her colon problems.
Upon first walking in it was nice to see ESPN on, sports paraphernalia on the walls, and cute girls behind the counter. As a first time customer they offer you the "MVP" which is a cut, shampoo /w hot towel, and massage as a free upgrade from the base cut. The girl cutting my hair seemed to know what she was doing and it turned out how I liked it as i sat and watched ESPN. She tried making small talk about sports but it seemed kinda forced and ditzy. The massage was the only weird thing though - they have a little machine they just run around your back/neck/shoulders that feels kinda like a car buffer.
I don't think I'd ever pay for the "MVP" frankly but the rest was pretty nice. It had a similar atmosphere to the old barbershop I was accustomed to but instead of grisly old guy cutting hair it was a cute girl. I plan on going back for my next cut.
