| - Horrible Experence!!! Got a Groupon for haircut/conditioning treatment/ partial hi-lite. First called and they said it would be 3 weeks to get in cuz they only had one stylist (why run a promo?) my Groupon would've been expired, but she said they'd honor it, that was nice. They called to confirm, then same day called back to switch the time cuz the person I was scheduled with walked out (must have been someone they hired within those 3 weeks). She then told me they'd give me a gift card for the inconvenience (nice). Got to the appt. and from that point it went downhill and fast! The gal at the front desk was very nice, then the stylist/owner in a loud voice said oh you better have her change her top or it'll get messed up...huh? So I went to change and they had weird pajama and like old lady tops from a thrift shop or something (odd) and came out. Then a very young girl said she was going to do my consultation. I thought that was weird since she wasn't the one doing my hair, so in other words I was going to have to consult twice...waste of my time. When the owner was ready to begin, she was like a total spaz! Very loud, talking nonstop, making no sense at all! I then said wait can you stop and take a breath? Then I introduced myself and had to ask her what her name was, great start huh? Ok so I had pics of what I wanted, different angles, front, side back and she said well you have to pick one cuz I need a total visual of what I'm doing. So now I'm getting a little frustrated!!! It was a shag for heaven sake! Ahhh something you learn in beauty school??? Then she starts to part my hair for the cut, I asked aren't you going to wash my hair? Oh no we do dry cuts, wtf!!! She made it sound like the norm, not in my world. Also, she does no razor cuts! On to hi-lite consult...she pulled up photos on her little iPad after I said I just wanted a caramel color and I saw a pic with the general idea. Then she said I'd have to pay an extra 30.00 for that cuz she had to pull up (lift & deposit) the color from my hair color...ahhh I believe a hi-lite is to "lighten" your hair??? Also, she told me I'd only get 6 hi-lites with the Groupon, why offer? I have NEVER had an experience like this...kinda like the twilight zone for real. I told her I didn't think the appt. was going to work out, I got up, changed out of the "pajama" top and walked out the door...ugh! Beautiful place, lots of cutting stations with no staff or clients yikes, I'm out on this place!
