  • We were getting married 9-10-11 so our chapel recommended us to go the Thursday before (instead of the Friday) since it was a popular wedding date. Boy, was she right. First of all, we pre-registered online so we had everything pretty much done -- all we really had to do was pay $60. The process of waiting in line and getting our license took no longer than 15 minutes. There was another couple there that had got there before us but hadn't pre-registered and they were still waiting when we left.
